Amazon is taking on Walmart and Instacart with a massive same-day grocery expansion. And Q4 inventory deadlines are here. This and more on this week's episode of The Weekly Buzz. Speaker 2: How cool is that? Pretty cool, I think. Hello everybody and welcome to another episode of the Serious Sellers Podcast by Helium 10. This is the show that is our Helium 10 weekly buzz. We give you a rundown of all the goings on in the Amazon, TikTok shop, e-commerce world. We let you know what new features that Helium 10 has and give you a training tip of the week that'll give you serious strategies For Serious Sellers of any level in the e-commerce world, today's host is actually going to be Shivali Patel. I'm super excited for you guys. Speaker 2: All right. Thank you, Shivali. Our first new feature alert is TikTok ads. Yes, that's right. Helium 10 Ads always has been able to do Amazon, been able to do Walmart, and now you can create, manage, and analyze your TikTok advertising and TikTok live campaigns Right now, you can pretty much just do the same stuff that you can do inside of TikTok. Start a campaign, pause it, check what videos it's going to, be able to change your budgets, etc. But there's a couple of extra things. So let me go ahead and show you, first of all, how you can use it. Now, this is for elite members, but don't worry. As With all of our tools, Elite gets first crack at everything. It's going to go down to Diamond, potentially other plans as well. So how you can start managing it. First of all, you have to have your TikTok account connected. If you guys don't have that, you just click up here and you just hit connections and you can add your TikTok token. You can also connect the ads token there too, or here in Helium 10 ads, you just go down here to settings And then right here you can add the TikTok PPC account, all right? So there's two TikTok tokens, just like with Amazon, you have to have connected your regular TikTok account plus your TikTok PPC token. Now once you do that, now the first thing you can see, what's really cool, is you can see all of your account's performance. Your Amazon account, your Walmart account, and your TikTok account in one. You can't do that with any other platform. Obviously, on TikTok, you're not going to be able to see your Amazon. And you can start grouping by country or grouping by account. And you can also choose which currency you want to see in them. But here I can see all of my ads accounts all together. So it's like a quick way to easily see, hey, how's my Amazon doing? How's my TikTok doing? How's my Walmart doing? Perhaps I might see something here that says, you know what, I need to divert spend somewhere. Next thing here on the dashboard, I can see all the metrics from my GMB Max accounts, revenue, ACoS, cost per live. I can do it based on dates. I have campaign performance history. What's my top campaigns? How's my live stream performance? And then also, I have analytics I could look at. And then of course, I can create my advertising campaign. Next up, Amazon just rolled out same-day perishable grocery delivery to over 1,000 cities and towns with plans to double that reach. By year's end, that reach is going to be doubled to 2,300 areas across the U.S. by end of 2025. Prime members can get it free on orders over $25. This includes fresh produce, meat, seafood, baked goods, baked foods is what I was going to say, pretty similar, and frozen foods delivered in hours. Right alongside any other Amazon.com delivery, you can check that out on my screen if you're looking at this via video. Now, I know most sellers watching this don't sell perishables, but here's why this is on the bus this week. It's because grocery has always been that category that Walmart and Instacart and others have had a leg up on when it comes to Amazon. If this expansion drives more prime signups, then it means that more consumers are going to spend time on the platform, which of course Benefits All Sellers. Speaking of things that benefits all sellers, let me pass it over to Carrie, who will show you how to see keyword history from a day uno. Speaker 3: How to see keyword history going back years, even if you just started tracking today. Most Amazon tools out there offer keyword tracking, and that's not something that's unique to Helium 10. However, with most of those tools, you only start seeing ranking data from the day that you start beginning tracking the keyword. But what if you want to see how a keyword or a product is ranking for, you know, two or three years ago or maybe last Prime Day or last Q4? Well, only Helium 10 actually allows you to do that for the top search keywords. So I'm actually going to show you how to do this. The first thing you want to do is you want to go to the keyword tracker and I'm just going to add a product in real time to show you how this actually works. The first thing I'll do is go to add products and what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna actually add an egg tray here and I'm gonna put in egg holder as the main keyword and I'm just gonna hit start tracking, okay? So this is going to start tracking this automatically right away so that we can basically see the history and I just need to go ahead and find it, this one right here. So what we're gonna do is we're going to expand this down and you can actually see we've got egg holder right here and you can see the organic rank. So if we click on this, We can actually go back in time and see the organic rank. We've got that history. You can go back, look at that. You can see the entire last year and that data is in there right away, right when you start ranking, okay? So that's really powerful. Here I am in 2025 and I can see keyword rank history from last year, even when I wasn't tracking then. And this is especially useful for sellers who are thinking about upgrading from another keyword tracker because you don't actually have to start from scratch or lose your existing keyword insights. So if you wanted to do this and upload your products really quickly, you can actually do this in bulk. So if you wanted to add products, what you can do is you can just click this bulk upload and you can upload an Excel file there and it will basically upload all of your products and your keywords so that you don't have to do that one by one and make it a really tedious process. You don't even need to import historical rankings. We've got all of them. You just upload that file, and within minutes, you're gonna see keyword ranking history for this year, last year, or even the year before. And it's a no-brainer if you're currently using an inferior keyword tracker, because pretty much ours is the best. Helium 10 is actually gonna save you time, and it's gonna restore your data. This feature also gives you peace of mind. So maybe you lost keyword data accidentally with another tool. Maybe you never tracked a keyword, but now you want to know where was I ranking during prime day last year? Well, that's no problem because even if you've deleted something or never tracked it before, Helium 10 lets you instantly access historical ranks for your own products and even for your competitors. Let's chat about how the holiday prep clock is officially ticking. Amazon has released the key inventory deadlines for this year's major Q4 events and Yes, based on past years, we'd all safely assume that there's another Prime Big Deals Day coming before Black Friday. So, if you want your products eligible for Prime Badged Deals during that fall event, here's going to be your playbook for our Q4 Super Bowl. For Amazon warehousing and distribution, you're going to want to get your inventory in by August 29th. This is written right here inside of Seller News if you want to go check this out yourself. For FBA with minimal shipment splits, the deadline is September 10th. Oh, it's behind my head. Here you go. September 10th. And Amazon optimized shipment splits is September 19th. For Black Friday, Cyber Monday week, AWD inventory needs need to arrive by October 9th. FBA minimal shipment splits are October 20th and FBA optimized, Amazon optimized shipment splits are October 30th. Hit those dates and you're locking in prime badge eligibility, better event placement, priority processing, all the things that we love and then miss them, then you're going to be watching from the sidelines while your competitors scoop up that traffic. Plan ahead. Q4 waits for no one. You know this. I know this. Let's keep it moving. Okay. For our second new feature alert this week, more on Helium 10 Ads new rule. Off to you, Bradley. Speaker 2: All right. Next new feature alert is probably going to be overlooked by 95% of the people who use Helium 10 Ads. But for me, this is like one of the biggest changes in the history of Helium 10 Ads. It's something I have been asking for and others for five years or more. This is the ability to not duplicate One keyword harvesting. What does that mean? Let me show you guys. One of the cool things about Helium 10 ads is I can have keyword harvesting rules. So I have all of my campaigns working together. Here's one of my groups of Project X, like the Project X coffin shelf. And I've got sponsored display campaigns. I've got auto campaigns. I've got video keyword campaigns. I have video acing campaigns. I've got broad match campaigns. I've got sponsored brand campaigns. I've got acing targeting. And then some of these, you'll see I have multiple, what I call performance campaigns. What that is, is those are manual campaigns, right? And so again, whether you have ads or not, this is important to understand. The harvesting process is, what that means is your auto campaign, your broad campaigns, they might find keywords that they convert for or ASINs that you aren't targeting in all of the other campaigns. For example, if there's an ASIN in my auto campaign, I would want to go ahead and try it in my product targeting campaign, my sponsor display ASIN targeting campaign, and also my video ASIN targeting campaign. Like if it worked in auto campaign, who knows? Maybe it could work there. But here's the thing. You shouldn't just put hundreds and hundreds of targets in one campaign, right? You're usually suggested that you should keep your targets to what? Some people do 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, max maybe depending on your budget. So what happens when you hit that 20 or 25, what do you do? You start a brand new campaign. You keep that old campaign there, right? Whatever 15, 20 targets you have in there, it's still going to go. And then you've got this new campaign where any new keywords you harvest or discover, you want to funnel there. What was happening in ads and pretty much most tools and Seller Central, if you discover another keyword in the auto campaign, it's looking at the new campaign you made. Oh, it's not here. Let me suggest to put it here. But what if it's already in that first manual campaign or that first acing campaign? So, for me, whenever I had to harvest my keywords, I couldn't just blindly, I mean, I definitely couldn't turn on automation, but I couldn't just blindly accept it because I needed to check, hey, am I sure that this keyword target does not appear in one of my other campaigns for this exact same product and same match type? Because you don't want to be duplicating targets and match types. So, it was a very manual process. What they did was they added something here at the very bottom of your rules for harvesting campaigns. It says, Select to not suggest any search terms that already exist with the same match type in the campaigns for this rule group. So no matter how many campaigns I create for one product, I still need to add it to this group even if I'm not adding new campaigns or new targets to the campaign. You can see here in my original manual campaign, I have nothing checked here because I don't want anything else going here. But I have it here because I want Helium 10 to check, hey, There's this new keyword or ASIN that I discovered in my auto campaign. Is it in any of my other We do campaigns with the same exact match type. If not, go ahead and put it in my new one. But if it's there in this first one, don't tell me to put it in this one. So again, I'm not sure you guys understand how game-changing this is for those of us who have used Helium 10 ads for years. This is going to save me... I would usually go through my keyword harvesting like once every two, three weeks. It would take me like 10, 15 minutes just to like one by one check that. It was kind of annoying. 10-15 minutes is not that big of a deal, but I've only got 200 campaigns. Those of you who've got like 2,000 campaigns, I don't know what the heck you were doing for this, or maybe you didn't even realize that it might be duplicating the matches, but now turn that on in your keyword harvesting rules and you don't have to worry about having to check if that target is already there.
