You cannot be a business, a real business anymore if you're only focusing on Amazon or if you're not leveraging AI right now because you will be left behind. As fast as everything is moving, we need to be in the rooms. Anything we recorded a month ago even is just old by now. And so we need to know what's working now and we need to know how to vet what's working and who to talk to, who to follow for what's going to be working in the future. And we're bringing all of that together at this event. Hey, Wana. What's going on? >> Hey, Amy. All good. All good. Happy to see you. How are you? >> I am great. I'm stoked because you and I are both going to be at ecommastery.ai happening in Nashville April 8th through the 12th. And I know you're speaking at this event and you're speaking. This event, first of all, is so amazing because we're merging all of the e-commerce channels. We're talking about all the latest and greatest with all the e-commerce channels. We don't want to be omni channel and we don't want to be only Amazon anymore. We have to be omni channel, right? >> It's the most >> Kevin is doing all of the e-commerce channels bringing all the amazing experts. But the other side of it with which both you and I love is AI. So we're merging e-commerce with AI. First ever event like this. How excited are you? >> Oh my god, I literally cannot wait. We are weeks away from that. And this is the event where you need to be from all perspective. You think about it, but you mentioned it right. You cannot be a business a real business anymore if you're only focusing on Amazon or if you're not leveraging AI right now because you know you will be left behind. >> Exactly. Exactly. And right now if we take any paid training any courses and I'm a course grader so I shouldn't be saying this out loud but the reality is with the as fast as everything is moving we need to be in the rooms. We need to not only know what is working now because anything we recorded a month ago even is just old by now. And so we need to know what's working now and we need to know how to vet what's working and who to talk to, who to follow for what's going to be working in the future. And we're bringing all of that together at this event. So at this event, you're going to be talking about optimizing Rufus, which is Amazon's shopping assistant, but it's plugged into Cosmo, which is Amazon's back-end AI with incredible data. Not just Amazon data, but ad data from across the internet. So powerful. and you're going to be talking about it with Amazon's marketing cloud. So, it's really, really cool. It's stuff people really need to be up on awareness of because even if I'm a Shopify seller, understanding how to harness this data from Amazon is so powerful. It's amazing. So, you're going to be talking about this and want to Amazon's AI shopping assistants, Rufus and Cosmo, are changing how customers find products. Most sellers don't even know that these exist. What are they and why should every Amazon seller be optimizing for them right now? >> That's the biggest challenge, Amy, because you and I both how both know how important this is and many sellers unfortunately still treat Amazon as it's 2017, right? Amazon has moved beyond that. Amazon has moved beyond the search bar right now and Amazon invested heavily in creating those, you know, smarter systems. Let's call it at the end of the day that's what it is, right? Amazon has always always focused on the customer and by adding these extra tools to it which is Rufus and Cosmo at the end of the day it's only improving the customer journey right and focusing more on helping them finding the better uh products. So as a seller if you don't optimize or understand what that is unfortunately your products might be invisible to those systems right so that is why everybody needs to claim be aware of what Rufus and Cosmo is let's start with Cosmo without getting too technical and I will explain that at the event so make sure that you know um you everybody gets you know their their notes up because um when it comes to Cosmo so Cosmo was actually launched a couple years ago and it's a common sense knowledge graph it's not that Amazon threw everything out of the window and reinvented how search works. It's just it added another layer on top of that which is making sure that the system understands fully what your product is but most importantly it understands behavior and it analyzes intent. So when it comes to connecting your product as a seller to your target audience, Cosmo will be the main thing that you need to focus around. And then you mentioned previously Amy because you're also an expert when it comes to Rufus. Um Rufus reads that information. Rufus doesn't have a brain of itself. Rufus is the the assistant that's there to assist customers pick and choose and it's in the beginning. I know everybody is kind of like oh my god Rufus but at the end of the day Rufus will change how people and already started changing how people shop on Amazon. >> Yeah. What were the stats during Q4 it was like during the holiday season something like 30% of purchase decisions were made through Rufus. >> Yeah that is why Amazon started adding Rufus questions in the prompt in your advertising. So that is about to change what we know about advertising so far. >> Yeah, keywords are going to be totally different. I mean everything is really conversational right now and we were predicting this years ago. Uh but now it truly is happening and people are shopping with their AIs and they're they're getting lazy to the point because their AI knows them and they're able to just ask. And I did this the other day with Rufus. I said, "I have an 8-year-old schnoodle and she is like losing her hair a little bit and I want a dog food that is better for her and really good for her coat of hair." And Rufus came through with a few different ones and said, "Okay, do you want a veterinarian recommended one? Do you want a, you know, a natural food recommended one? Like, what do you care about more? Does she have uh allergies? Does she have this?" and it's asking me questions about my dog and how she is so that it can give me more personalized recommendations. And so why would I go now that I know that this is the power when I need to make a purchasing decision? Why would I waste my time and typing dog food into the search? Why? There's no point. I get everything from Rufus and Amazon is seeing that happening and it's really really powerful. So, >> and best part is that next time it will remember this information and we will already know based on new searches what's recommend for you. >> Yeah. And if sellers are not understanding the the biggest the coolest thing is being able to understand now not just keywords people use but the actual language and conversations they're having with AI. That knowledge is now being put into our AIs. So, never before in history have we had access to this level of information and it's here now. So, you're going to be showing people how to harness this. Your session in Nashville is going to be incredibly tactical. What's one thing attendees are going to be able to implement the day they get home? The first thing is not only understanding Cosmo and Rufus, but what's broken on your listing. So, you can go ahead and fix that. But most importantly, it will sh it's it's focused on shifting your vision around how to use advertising because now we have access to AMC. So even more I'm more excited about that because Amazon is telling us don't focus only on keywords anymore in the way that you set campaigns but now you have the ability to look into audiences and group of people something that Amazon had this data for so many years and we know that and we were able to do that through DSP right but you would need enormous budgets to have even access to that data well you don't need that anymore because right now you have access to AMC we have access to that data and here's the thing it you might get data paralysis so that is why I will give you the exact steps on how to use AMC and why you need to use AMC at the end of the day to start making more money. It's not only about optimization, but getting to the right shoppers and getting more sales. >> Yeah, I mean that is incredible. And how can the techniques that you teach here in this session, how can it help sellers on other channels as well besides just people who are selling on Amazon? I know a lot of our sellers are going omni channel now. Um, can this data help them outside of that? Well, 100%. You have the path to purchase, you have data around interactions outside of Amazon. So, all of that comes together because the power of the data and the ability to create audiences that you can target not only on Amazon but also on DSP which again brands that are not on Amazon but are able to leverage DSP campaigns are able to have that and therefore you know that's a gamecher when you start going after um audiences and create campaigns in DSP. that that's where we see the uh millions go to multi-millions for sure. That's where you see brands that are maybe stuck at a million make it to that 10 million mark, that 20 million mark. That that's it right there. So, so excited to learn from you, Anna.
