Welcome everybody to this AMA about market masters. I'll be happy to answer your questions here in just a few minutes, but I just wanted to explain what Market Masters is. Make this quick and uh short for you. Market Masters is an event I started in 2024. We've done two of them so far and the third one is happening this November in Austin, Texas. It's November 13th to the 17th. It's over a weekend. So, you would arrive by late afternoon or early evening of the 13th. There's nothing really happening that night. We serve a dinner, but there's no like official events. And then on the 14th, which is Friday, the 15th, Saturday, and the 16th, Sunday, we do three days of intensive hot seats. Uh there's right now there's scheduled to be three hot seats each day. We've done four each day in the past, but this year we're doing three each day to give each one of them a little bit more uh time. And then you would leave out on Monday the 17th. Or if you needed to really depart, you could depart uh on the night of the 16th if that was uh really important for you. But what is Market Masters? Market Masters is is probably my not probably, it is my number one event. I do several events. I do the BDSS inerson event. and I do the BDSS virtual event, which are all great, but the problem with those events is that you see a bunch of speakers speak about on some cool stuff, but not all of it applies to you. Some of it you can use, some of it you can't use. The difference with market masters is everything applies to the person sitting in the hot seat. And you don't have to sit in a hot seat to come. You can also come as what I call an audience member, and I'll talk about that more in just a minute, and get massive value as well. There's typically about 60 to 70 people total at MarketMaster, so it's not a huge event. I bring my chef and his crew. They're cooking meals for us the entire time. We can accommodate any kind of diet, whether you're Jewish or you don't eat you vegan or whatever it is. We can accommodate any kind of diet. I bring my massage therapist and she's doing we do a series of massages that are free like little short short 15 20 minute massages that are free that you can book up and then if you want to actually hire her you like it you want to hire her you can negotiate a price and she can do like an hourlong massage the whole weekend. The house that we do it in is called the Gatsby mansion. It's out near Lake Austin. It has it has a dock. The lake was a little dry. I'm not sure what the dock level is right now, but it also has an indoor pickle ball court with like six or eight courts inside of it. It's covered so out of the Texas Heat won't be Texas Heat in November. Um the the mansion itself is three stories, has 11 bedrooms. Um it has a game room, has a bar, has a cigar room, has a movie theater, and has a separate little building outside of the mansion. And that's where we do all the hot seats. It's almost it's kind of like a a fancy garage. It doesn't feel like a garage, but that's technically what it is. And in inside there, we set up almost conference style and it's not a stage. It's not there's no presentations at market masters. And we set up a a square table and at one end of the table is me and the person in the hot seat. And then around it are seven to eight curated experts based on that person. So someone who sits in the hot seat that fills out a form and it says, "Hey, I'm having trouble with this. I need to expand a Tik Tok or I need to go to shop. I want to go to Shopify or I'm having trouble with my PPC or I I'm looking to exit. What can I do? I'm having trouble hiring or should I even be doing this business? I just can't make any money. What am I doing wrong? Where are my problems? You fill out a form and then I curate the experts based on that. Some of them are from my dream 100. So, you'll have a handful of dream 100 there. And then others are invited from Austin and from all over the US and the world based on what the hot seat people need. So, it's some of the smartest people in the world are are at the event and then they spend an hour uh roughly an hour asking you questions. They've already analyzed your business. Most of them have already looked at your social media and looked at your Amazon listing and they come in and they ask you a lot of pinpointed questions. Some of those questions can be pretty pretty u you know uncomfortable sometimes for some people in it, but as long as you're honest um it's that's how you get results. And then after there's no solutions during this hour. It's moderated by me so we keep everybody on track and you're just answering questions. A question might be why are you doing this on your PPC or why are you paying how much are you paying uh for your graphics or what tools are you using or it could be all over the place or have you ever thought about this or are you trying this and all they're doing is asking questions. Then we take a break and then the next hour or so is nothing but solutions. No more questions. It's only like hey you need to do this, you need to do this. Quit doing this. stop doing this. Here's a tool that will do this for you. It's very specific for you. And there's no So, unlike a conference where some of it is, some of it isn't. It's to solve your problem. And then the best thing is because we're in this mansion, it's almost it kind of self-contained in this mansion for the rest of the weekend or the entire weekend, you get to go to these people and ask them more questions. So, if you're in a hot seat and someone says something and like, "Hey, I'd like to go deeper on that." Maybe over lunch that day or it could be dinner the next day or what or it could be an app one afternoon say hey can do you mind coming over here in the living room and let me ask you a little bit more about this thing and you can go ind depth now I've seen people sitting for two hours just talking with an expert and like getting their problems solved and getting solutions it's an amazing time now if you want to sit in the hot seat that's where the val the biggest value is but you can also come as an audience member and you you can watch these hot seats so if you sit in a hot seat you have the choice of making it closed or open. If you make it closed, that means it's just you, me, and the moderate and the uh the experts. Nobody else is in the room. If you make it open, it's us. It's me, you, and the mo the experts. And then the other people, there's some couches and chairs in the back of the room. They can sit back there and just watch. They can't say anything. They can't they can't add anything, but they can just watch. And a lot of times, just by watching someone else's hot seat, it's massive, massive value. I see people scribbling notepads full of stuff just listening to somebody else's. And then you have the same advantage of you can go and ask these experts, you know, during lunch or dinner or afternoon or go play pickle ball with them and ask whatever you want to do and ask them questions. It's super super valuable. If you've watched the testimonial video, you'll see that person after person after person, some of the most respected people in the Amazon space are saying there's nothing else like it and there's not. There's other ones where people do like little workshops or work parties, but there's nothing like this at all in in the space. I also bring my trainer and so he's there if you want to work out and he'll train you. All this is included. So when you come, your food is included. Uh all the drinks are included. On Saturday night, we do a party. Um it's a it's a fun party. The first one we did a a we brought in dealers and stuff and did a casino night. Uh this last year we did all these like kids games that people just love like popping balloons with a uh where you put in 20 bucks in cash as a g a gamble and we put uh you a balloon uh one of those robots would be on the ground a Roomba you know vacuum robots and had knives on it and it would pop the balloons and if it popped u whichever balloon was last standing got the money. So it's a lot of cool stuff like that. It's really fun really good networking. It's a really cool weekend. Now, there's 11 rooms in the mansion itself. Um, Mark has one of those and I have one of those and then so there's nine available um to to sell. I think right now there's like three or four left. So, you can stay on the property itself in one of the rooms or you can stay in a hotel of your own choosing if you have a car or vehicle and you want to do that. It's kind of out away. There's not a lot of hotels and stuff around in that area. or we have Lake Austin Spa Resort. Uh uh that not Lake Austin, sorry, Lakeshore Spa Resort. Um that's uh we don't have it negotiated rate there, but that's where we run a shuttle bus. So we run a shuttle several times a day back and forth. It's about 10 minutes away from that hotel. So that's where a lot of the people that's where all the ex most of the experts are staying. And so we run a shuttle back and forth. Uh so you don't have to have a car or or if you want you could rent a car. The location is about 40 minutes from the Austin airport. It's out near the lake. Um, it's a really really cool event. So, the van advantage is you're in this room and you have all these some of the smartest people in the business. You get to pick their brain for an entire weekend for your specific needs and you get to listen to other people's problems and which sometimes illuminates problems to that you didn't know you weren't aware you had. You're like, "Oh my gosh, that's same thing is happening to me. I need I need to solve that, too." Now, some of the results from this um I had and the very first one was in November of I'm sorry, September of last year. So, about a year ago was the very first one just two weeks ago. Julie is her name. She messaged me and she when her session was I think the first day and during her session I remember she was a little uh you know some of the questions that were being asked to her she was a little like hey you know uh back down you know I I don't know I had she's a little defensive I guess is the right word but then she came around like you know what you guys are actually right she went and she implemented every a lot of what she was told and she just messaged me I didn't ask for a testimonial she just messaged me out of the blue two weeks ago and said hey I just want to give you an update. And she said that my my profit margin was negative8% when I came there. Now my profit margin is 24% and I'm on track to actually start to make real money. And she is very appreciative. That's what happens. Um we had another one, Palak, who came in also in uh September last year. She was doing about a million and a half dollars in homegoods and and she came back in February. She came and sat in the hot seat in September. And then she came back and sat uh just as an audience member because she's like I'm not missing this again and just to listen to other people's and be around these smart people. She came back in in February and she said she's on track to do 5 million. I just saw her I just had lunch with her actually in Seattle at Accelerate last week or two weeks ago. And and she says she may hit exceed that. So and I said well what happened? That's a big jump. That's like a 3x jump. She said I just did what y'all said. uh as it wasn't something went viral or some crazy thing happened, you know, you got a feature on Oprah or something. She like, "No, I just did what y'all said." We had another seller that was doing 110 million and he's on track now to do close to a billion with a B. Now, I can't take we can't take full credit for that. He was had a lot of stuff in motion, but we gave him some stuff that helped put some gas on that fire. Uh we had another seller that was doing about $94,000 total per year, and we actually told her, "Get out of the business." you know, like quit fighting this fight. So, yeah, she paid to be there. It cost her money to for her ticket to sit in the hot seat, but at the end of the day, she ended up saving a lot of money because we told her, look, this is not where you need to be. So, that it runs the range. And then some people come and they don't do anything. They think they know it all and they don't implement anything. So, it depends on if you're willing to listen. These people have been there. They've done that and they can help you. It's lifechanging. And is it cheap? No, it's not cheap. I don't make money on this event. I lost $70,000 on the very first one. I lost $10,000 on the second one. This one, I hope I at least break even. I do this because I see the impact it makes on people. And everybody needs a little helping hand. And there's nothing else like this. Eventually down the road, maybe I'll make a small amount of money on these, but I do them to actually give back. And I I enjoy the process. I enjoy helping people and it's just a cool weekend. Um, so I just hopefully break even. So, the price, even though it's a little high, uh the the experts do not get paid to be there. There's no sponsors. Uh there's no pitching. Now, if you one of the experts, if they happen to have an agency or something, you want to talk to them, that's up to you guys. But they're not there's no pitching or no selling. Um they don't get paid to be there. They come and a lot of the experts say they learn as much as you do because they're sitting at the table with seven or eight other small people, smart people as an experts, and they might say something like, "Oh, wow. that's they're taking notes, too. It's that it's that that that valuable. So, what I'm I've done um for this one coming up in November is um I'm offering a partial scholarship. And so, I want to help people out because the price is high. As long as I can at least cover my cost and and break even, I'm willing to give uh the people that are on this call a partial scholarship if you're interested in coming. So, the price to come and sit in the hot seat, if you go to the billiondollarcellers.com website and click on market masters, you can see there it's it's almost 10 grand. It's $9,997. But the people on this call, I'm willing to give a $4,000 discount to four people. Uh only four. There's nine seats. So, I can't do it for them all or I'll lose money. But for four people, I'll give a $4,000 discount. So, that makes it $59.97. And that's that's an incredible steal. The first one that I did, people didn't know what this was. I had to charge a lower price just to get people to show up. But when the people came the last day, we sat around, we did like a little pow said, "What would you like? Would you not like you get some feedback?" And they said, "Look, I would have paid 10 times this if I know would have known what it was. I just didn't know what it was." Um, but I would have paid 10 times this. This is life-changing. This is amazing. This is like for the people that were willing to take action. There is no better thing on the market period. They're like, I would have scrambled. One person's like, I would have scrambled to get the money. I didn't have that kind of money. I would have borrowed it because now that I know the impact this can make. So, I'm willing to do that to help some people out. $4,000 discount. I'm going up a QR code here in a minute uh that'll give you that first four people that decide to do that. If you're someone that's on this call and you um already have bought what's called an audience ticket. So the a the other way to come is as an audience member. So that means you're not sitting in the hot seat. You're not getting specific stuff for those two and a half hours on your business, but you can sit in the audience and watch some of the other ones that are open. Some people may close their their so it's not if there's nine there could usually there's a couple of them people are just like I don't want anybody else hearing this. It's closed. Um so there's nobody watching. But usually out of nine, probably six to seven at least, maybe all nine will be open and you can listen to those plus you get to hang around all weekend and get the benefit of everything. An audience ticket to do that, which includes your food, includes all your drinks, alcohol included, includes uh the transportation from back and forth from the hotel if you stay at our main hotel. If you don't stay at our main hotel, it's that's on you. It does not include your your hotel cost, and none of these do. None of these include the hotel cost or your flight to get there uh or your Uber or whatever to get out to the mansion. That's all on you. But everything else is included for the weekend. The audience member ticket is $39.97. But on this call, I'm doing a partial scholarship knocking off $1,000 on that one. And that's also for four people. So that makes it $29.97. And then you have the cost of the hotel. our hotel, I think it's 200 around 200 and something dollars a night if you stay at the official hotel where most people are staying. Uh, but you can if you got another option or an Airbnb that's you can find that in the area or if you got a friend to stay with or you live local and you want to drive in, however you want to do it. But if you've already if you're listening to this and you've already bought an audience ticket or you already have an audience ticket and you're like, you know what, I would like to upgrade to the the hot seat. I can apply the cost of the audience ticket. I can apply that $29.97 value that you've uh to and as a discount. So that would make you know for three grand basically you could upgrade from an audience ticket if you already have one to a hot seat. A hot seat is where it's at and that's what I recommend. Um by far there there uh but if if that's not something that's in your price range I would try to make it happen especially if you're having trouble. you know, this is this is the event where if you're having it's you know, it's it's tough sometimes to sit in a hot seat and hear the truth, but the truth is sometimes what what you actually need to hear. Uh and this is the place where you're going to hear hear that truth. Um so it's it's the question is not really the money, but are you willing to do what's recommended? Um, you know, I I I say, you know, it's kind of like a if you paid $10,000 to do a battery of test on your you for your health. You did you paid $10,000 to do some fancy test on your health to get the best doctors to take take it out uh and it came back and said, "Hey, you have cancer, but if you do these three things, it will save your life." Would you do that? Would you would that have been a waste of money? Would you have found the money? And it's almost the same thing on this one. If if you're it if you're having any kind of issues in your business or maybe you're s you're doing well, but you're like, I just can't get over that hurdle. I just need to get to that next level. I need to expand here. I don't know how to do it. This is definitely where you where you need to be. Um so that's basically the the gist of everything. Um if you have a business partner, you're able to bring the that business partner as well. there's a discount if they sit in on your hot seat uh for them if they just want to come and like be in the audience. Uh it's a little bit they can get an audience ticket and just come. They just won't be able to sit in the hot seat with you. But if it's you and a business partner, um you can both sit in the hot seat. We've had people and the first one they had two people there and then they had their CEO on a on a screen on the put a a laptop on the on the table and that their CEO was back in Vegas and he was able to uh to to log in. that that couple that actually did that, they ca they were doing a hundred um what were they doing like I think $130 million in sales on Amazon and they came and they brought all these products and they brought all this stuff and they're like we need help launching these what's the best way to do this and this and we started in the question and answer period and by the end of that they had no business launching any more products because they had a 3% profit margin. We're like, why are we going to tell you how to launch these products when your business is messed up already and you have a 3% profit margin right now uh on 130 million? I mean, that's still millions of dollars, but like you got to fix that before you launch anything else. So, during the the answer section, we gave them a ton of advice. At the end of it, the couple that were there, they got they had a rental car. They got in their rental car and went for a drive, found a dive bar, and that at that dive bar, they said that's just what they do. That's their they're a married couple. That's their habit. They went and just decompressed and then on the way out of the diet bar, they passed by a little bookstore uh that I guess was on the sidewalk nearby and there's a book in there uh and they bought that book, brought that back to me as a gift and said, "This was life-changing and gamechanging for us. This is not what we came here for and what we thought we needed, but this is exactly what we needed and this will be this will change our business and change everything we do." That's how profound it was. I don't know their final results. Um, but that's that's how profound it was. So, that's uh uh what I wanted to tell you about Market Masters. Hopefully, if you want to join, I'm going to put the QR code up right now. If you want to join us, and then I'll answer some questions. Uh, if you have any questions, feel free to type it into the chat. But these these are the QR codes right here. So, if you want to come as an audience member, you can scan the one on the left and that will knock $1,000 off the price. It's the first four people to do it. If you want to sit in the hot seat, you it's 4 thou it'll knock $4,000 off the price. So instead of $99.97, it'll be $59.97. And it's also the first four. I can't do it for all nine people. I can only do it for four. So if you want to be one of the first four, scan that one. If you've already got an audience ticket, and I know there's I don't know. I haven't looked to see who's on the call. There might there's like 10 or 11 people that have audience tickets already. If one of you or a couple of you happen to be on the call and you're like, you know what, I really would like to do a hot seat. You're welcome to upgrade. Um, let me put the code for that is a the coupon code is AMA like ask me anything 2025. Uh, and that'll knock uh that'll knock the price off of the hot seat. That's only if you already have an audience ticket. You can only use that code if you already have an audience ticket. It won't be applied and you want to upgrade. But let me put this uh these in the chat here as well. I can um hopefully everybody's got those QR codes, but let me put put the link here in the chat as well. Makes it easier. Some people don't like to scan QR codes. Uh chats. There we go. Everyone there. There are the links in the chat. So, if you have a if you have a question, uh I know I saw a few of you came in here late. I'll be happy to repeat something I need to or you uh you can I'll send out a replay and you can watch that if you missed something. Uh Natalie says, "So fun. Is there a time?" Uh Natalie says, "Is there any time or help to implement even a few little things that could make a difference while there?" Yes. Um depends on when you your hot seat is. Um the hot seat the order is determined by when the experts are available. So ideally the best is to get a hot seat on the first day, then you have the rest of the time. Um but yes there there is um it would help if you decide to do the hot seat and there's something specific it would help uh when you send when I send you the form the questionnaire you indicate that and then we can try I can try to arrange um some special time like even if your hot seats like on Saturday or Sunday um I can say hey uh you know let's just let's say it was a a Tik Tok thing you wanted to implement something on Tik Tok I can ask whoever the Tik Tok expert experts there are I say Hey, do you mind sitting down with Natalie? Uh, she's got a few questions on this one thing, how to implement. Can you look over her shoulder on the computer? Can definitely try to facilitate that. The experts are very willing. They're not standoffish. They're not like, "Oh my um, you know, these are like little peeons. Get away from me. I'm just just here to say my stuff and go hide in my room." No, it's not that way. They're very open, very willing to help. Um, u, and they will sit down and do whatever they can to help you out. Um so the hot seat in Nadley is about two and a half hours. So the way it works again is that the first hour roughly uh it usually goes a little bit over that is nothing but questions. So they don't offer you any solutions, any advice in that first hour. What you've done is you filled out a questionnaire in advance has about 20 questions, 25 questions on it like links to your website, links to your Facebook. This is all private. It's not shared with anybody else. There's no we do make a recording of your of your hot seat, but we don't share that with anybody else there. We don't share it with the experts. We don't share it with the audience. The only person that gets the recording is the person sitting in the hot seat because sometimes you it's too you're hearing so much stuff and your mind's like, "Oh my gosh, this is so much I can't keep up with all what they're saying or maybe you're taking notes and you forgot something." We give you the full transcript and a full AI summary. you get the full transcript and an AI summary so that if you want to analyze the transcript in a different way it's not just a summary only you get that uh so that so they've they look at your your uh information beforehand uh and then when they come in so most of them have some questions prepared they're not like we're not wasting time with them getting familiar with your product um they may have some questions they didn't understand something or how you're doing something and then we take a short break little bathroom break and get some water break and then we come back and we do another hour roughly hour. It's a little bit over an hour usually of solutions like do this and it's very specific. It's not like yeah you need to sell more. It's like here's how you sell more. You need to start an email campaign that does these three things and here's the tool you need to use. You need to say this right here on your first email. The subject line needs to be this. It's specific. Uh and then if they can't go into specifics there if you're like that sounds good but I have a couple questions. What should the preview text be? Uh, and maybe this was Sarah. I'm just making up names here. Sarah, it said that. Then you go up to Sarah and you say, "Sarah, hey, uh, over lunch, do you mind if I sit next to you? Can I ask you a couple more questions about uh, what you said about the preview text? I didn't quite get it." And and they'll happily tell you. These experts are getting as much out of this as you are. So, they're happy to be there and they're happy to help. Um, so that's that's um that's how that works. Um, let me see if there's any other questions. Um, thanks to all loving the glasses. Yeah, my trying to get I'm trying to look younger. You know, this is what the cool kids wear. They wear these big thick black I don't like how thick they are on my nose, but it's what the cool kids wear. Um, so that's um that's what I wanted to share with you. Uh, if you have any other questions, I see there's a few quite a few of you on here. Please feel free to type that in. It's a differencemaking event. Um, I know it's a lot of money for some people. Um, but like I said, it's not a money maker for me. It's this is an investment in yourself and in your business. And if you're willing to take action, that's the key. If you're coming to this and just going to listen and just write some notes and not do anything, don't come. Uh, you're wasting your money. But if you're coming to this and you're like, you don't have to do everything they say. You may disagree with something. That's okay, too. But you need to a lot of it's you're going to want to implement as as quickly as you can or uh and I know that Paok actually mentioned this to me when I was at lunch with her the other day. She said that Mary Mary Harkort was one of the experts on uh one on her panel and she was praising Mary a year later saying she was able she made a relationship with Mary and was able to reach out to her several times after the event like weeks after the event ask a question and Mary helped her. I'm not promising that from every expert. I'm not saying they're not obligated to do that, but some of these experts are are willing to do that. Uh that's and she was praising how valuable that's been for her. So, um that that's the level of what you get at at Market Masters. After the first one that I did, it was so empower so powerful that I thought about maybe I shouldn't even do my other events because this is so cool and so good and so profound. And I didn't have any results then. People just went through the first one and they just did it. But it was so awesome. I was taking notes um as well. But just it's not just what you're learning, it's the the the relationships you're building with some of the most powerful and influential and experienced people in the industry. Some of them are names you know, some of them are people you've never heard of. I my network is pretty wide. It's not just in the Amazon space. I I pull in people that are from the marketing space, uh, from other genres, not just not it is primarily an Amazon event, so it's mostly Amazon people, but I pull in people that, um, you've probably never heard of or never met or would never have a chance to meet any other way than to be there, either as an audience member or in a hot seat.
