Travis Zigler.m4a [ 00:00:00 ]Hey, I'm Dr. Travis Ziegler, and I'm here at the BDSS Market Masters Think Tank. Today, I'm going to be showing you guys an external traffic secret that nobody else is sharing in the space, and nobody else is doing this in the space. So there's a lot of opportunity to do this strategy, and I've been doing it since 2017, and I can tell you that doing it now takes a lot less time than doing it in 2017 because of AI. And so I'm going to give you some points with AI, but I'm also going to show you and diagram it for you and how we do it and everything. All right, so let's get started first. You want to think about the problem that your product solves. All of your products solve problems. [ 00:00:32 ] The problem with most people that sell on Amazon is they're so product mindset. They're in this product mindset where they always think about what product they sell, not the problem that they solve. People don't buy products, they buy solutions to their problems. And so I want you to think about what problem does your product solve? And I want you to have that going through your head constantly when you're going through this. I have an acid reflux brand. Acid reflux is the problem I solve. I sell a supplement around acid reflux to help with the lining of the gut. My solution is the supplement. The problem is acid reflux. So keep that in mind as we're going through this. And what I like to do is I like to do keyword research around that problem. [ 00:01:13 ] Once I do that keyword research, you can use any of the tools out there. There are a ton of tools. I like to find the problem with that keyword research, so I'll put an acid reflux to that. It will give me a bunch of keywords. Acid reflux, heartburn, GERD, which is gastroesophageal reflux disease, and a whole slew of others. What I'm looking for there, and I use Google Keyword Planner because it's free, is I look for high search volume and low competition on Google. High search volume, low competition on Google. I'll then take that keyword, and the first thing I do in this is I build a blog. So we're going to build that as our centerpiece of this whole strategy. So we're going to build a blog. [ 00:01:53 ] And the second thing I do when I have that blog is it's going to be solution-oriented. So it's going to be around acid reflux, what it is, what the symptoms are, what treatments are. Now, you need to be careful if you're in the supplement space for FDA structure function claims. So just keep that in mind, but that's not for this topic. So after we write this blog with AI, because we used to hire blog writers. It used to take us three to four weeks to get them. Blog writers are divas. ChatGPT is not a diva, and it does it for about you in about 30 seconds or so. So after we write this blog content, we then are going to put attribution links and advertisements on that blog for our product. [ 00:02:33 ] So I have an acid reflux supplement, I have a blog about acid reflux, and I have little banner ads in that blog that talk about my supplement. Those banner ads and the blog itself are going to have attribution links, attribution links that go to Amazon. So we have a blog. That has attribution links that go to Amazon. The problem with this is our blog isn't getting traffic yet, but we already did keyword research with Google. And so now what we're gonna do is we're gonna drive Google traffic to my blog. So now what's happening here? Let me zoom out a little bit as we have Google going to a blog that blog is going to Amazon. Now here's the key with this: this whole strategy when you focus on problem-based keywords versus product-based keywords, the cost per click is a lot lower. [ 00:03:32 ] So right now for my blog, we just started this brand about six weeks ago; we built it up to about $20,000 a month in that first month, and this was the main strategy we used to get that because On Amazon, cost per clicks about $13 for acid reflux; anything on Google, I'm getting about 2,000 clicks to my blog for about four hundred dollars a week and that's what we're going to focus on today, so let's go ahead and go ahead and and so now we're starting to scale that and that's how we're scaling this brand. However, this is where the magic happens; this is only half of it. On this blog, we have a lead magnet, and that lead magnet is based around the problem that your product solves, usually we like to make that lead magnet around mistakes so the five mistakes you're making with acid reflux, the top five mistakes you're making with Weight loss and that's a lead magnet, so then what we're trying to do is get an email address. [ 00:04:22 ] So the blog then gets us an email address, so the strategy I just talked about with my acid reflux brand, we're getting about 2,000 clicks a week to our blog for $400, but we're also getting 350 leads a week; we're getting new emails, and so that's roughly about a dollar and five cents per lead. So we're spending $400 in Google spend to get to our blog, we're getting the email lead, so about a dollar five cents per lead or something like that. But we're also driving to Amazon, and in this with that $400, we're driving about $1,200 worth of sales. so that's a three row as on that advertisement alone which is about a [ 00:05:06 ] thirty three percent a cos which is really great ends up being about a ten dollar cost per acquisition for us so very cheap cost per acquisition compared to what we could do on Amazon however we're getting leads and so we're actually getting paid to get leads and then this is where it gets really fun we can now take these leads put them through a welcome sequence so this welcome sequence ends up being anywhere from three to twelve emails long keep it simple build it with chat GPT so now we have this little welcome sequence and what we're doing with that welcome Sequence is, we're taking them back to the blogs so we have like five blogs written or so and then we just keep adding to that and when we add a blog we add it to the sequence, so we're getting [ 00:05:51 ] more emails back to the blog and so you have this perpetual cycle happening right here of getting more email addresses, getting them back to the blog, getting more email addresses back to the blog and then that's also feeding this cycle as well. Blog going down to Amazon and then Google is contributing to this whole thing and then what else we can do is we can do a direct sale so we can take those emails in that sequence and point these back to blog. Back to blog over to Amazon back to Amazon and so we're creating this perpetual cycle of where we're getting leads that are making sales, and then we're just adding more sales to it and more sales to it. [ 00:06:28 ] We get a new positive review, we add it down here to the sequence; we write a new blog about acid reflux, we've got add it down here to the sequence, and then that sequence continues to push to Amazon, continues to push back to the blog, and so we're building this massive list. We have about 15,000 on our list already, and we just started this brand less than two months ago. It's because of this strategy, so then what else you can do is as you Guys, know what this is? The main external traffic that everybody's talking about is Google Ads direct Amazon. This is it this is how you build external traffic, but you also build a list, and this is the most valuable piece because this will drive everything else. [ 00:07:12 ] When you build a list around a problem that your product solves, and it starts to perpetually work, you're building a perpetual sales machine that works in your sleep. And so, what do I do when this is working, when I'm getting a day at the time of this recording? I have to do one thing: turn Google up! I just put more money into this engine, and when I put More money in my row as will go down, but my emails go up; my sales will go up, and so we just keep pumping money into the system. And I write a new blog, and then a new blog, and then a new blog. And we just write a series of blogs with a series of emails to create what I call the perpetual sales machine. [ 00:07:56 ] And so this is my perpetual sales machine strategy; I've been doing it since 2017. It helped me build my email list up to $150,000 for my first brand that I built and sold for a multi-million dollar exit. And it's what we're doing for now all of our brands that we're buying, and we only buy and work with supplement brands. And we're doing This exact strategy over and over and over again and it works incredibly well, and if your product solves a real problem, because we don't sell products, we sell solutions. So again, I'm Dr. Travis Ziegler. If you want more information on this and to see how we can do it for you, or if you want to learn how to do it, head to ProfitablePineapple.com.
