BDSS X - Kauai - Melisa Vong Presentation

This is BDS 2024. We're here in Kauai. I've been to the first BDSS. So like every year on BDSS, I'm here. Honestly, it feels like an out-of-the-body experience. It is so different from any conference I've ever been to. The best event that I've been in all the years that I've been in the industry. You know, I've been to a lot of conferences all around the world. And I'm going to say this is definitely a top three for me. It's been amazing. Phenomenal. BDSS, I will tell you, is top, top notch. You've got some of the most brilliant minds from our industry coming together, bringing it. You can make one connection that can replace years of work. This leapfrogged you. One joint venture deal, one partnership. This is my first BDSS. It's just been the networking. Just really amazing people. It's pure content. You're getting some of the best tips and the best minds in the industry without sales pitches. With quality, the connections and the content is certainly something that is lacking. We've gone to dozens of conferences and never seen the quality speakers. I have like dozens and dozens of pages of notes of things that we're bringing back to our companies. Being in this conversation with this caliber of speakers, with this caliber of business owners, is just really incredible. He really brings through top speakers. I mean, you've got some guys that are unknown, as well as some of the most known people in the world, and they all come on stage. He's very particular with vetting the content, so you know you're going to get quality when you're at BDSS. When you come here, you realize it's the most life-changing thing. Even one speech could just absolutely transform your business. Kevin creates competition amongst the speakers, which is really, really an interesting concept. So we want to take our A game. And, plus, the speakers in the room are the best in the business, right? So many incredible, talented, smart people. Kevin and Mark did such a great job of creating this incredible experience, which allows people to really connect on a deep level. We're in a unique position because we've been to a bunch of these. And one of the things that is hard to imagine is that it just keeps getting better. The whole premise behind VDSS is to get together some of the top people in our space to be able to just keep exceeding and getting better each time. Somehow Kevin just manages to be able to do that. It's so much fun. We just got off a flying helicopter over the island, went in all these canyons. There were those incredible waterfalls. We got to go out over the ocean and see the cliffs. It was absolutely incredible. Kevin outdid himself like always. Okay, so the content was incredible. The food was incredible. The location was phenomenal. Content, location, people, 10 out of 10. Great information, great connections, great humans. It's just practical, real good advice from people that actually know what they're talking about. No talking heads here. People really understand what the subject matter is. People need to bet on themselves and really invest in their own education, and not only in their education, but in their network. And coming here is a cheap no, it's not. But you know what? With the networking, the information, we've never not been to a Kevin event, the BDS's event, where the ROI was realized immediately. Okay, let's say you're going to, the same amount of money you're going to invest for the ticket, you're probably going to spend either on some regular ads or on some regular lead gen. But you also get an experience out of the whole thing. So I honestly feel like you get more ROI for the actual conference itself. There's an opportunity for you to transform, not only your company. For yourself, you can transform your company at BDSS Kevin King tried to bring an absolutely unique experience wherever he brings his new conference so yeah, absolutely amazing. We're very selective about the events that we choose to go to, um, especially together and hands down this is the one that we always like lock in our calendar, um. I've been to events all over the world; I probably attended more events than most people. BDSS is an adventure time. Honestly, it was the ultimate non-conference conference I have ever been to because normally I'll go to a conference and I'm like, 'Oh my God, I feel so guilty about not working and just listening to the content and looking at all these amazing views.' And this was the first time I was like, 'I actually feel guilty about work.' It was totally worth it. I'm so, so, so happy I went. I feel so good about it. And it was truly an experience that I will never forget. You definitely missed out. But don't worry, because Kevin King always has another incredible conference in store and next year is going to be in Iceland, which is an insane experience. And I know that Natalie is going to bring great content to the stage, but he's also going to bring an incredible experience and unsurpassed networking that you just can't, you can't get anywhere else. So we got there. Yes, sir. I would love to see it.
